In Union County, the number of our neighbors living at or below the poverty line, paired with the lack of affordable housing are the primary causes of people experiencing an episode of homelessness or food insecurity. Our programs are aimed at making episodes of homelessness and food insecurity brief, rare, and one time only.

How We Are Helping Our Neighbors

The Community Shelter of Union County provides Emergency Shelter, Food, and Rehousing. Our low-barrier services support equitable opportunities because safe, affordable housing and access to food are basic human rights.
